Quick and Easy Low Carb Bread Rolls
Have you switched to a lower carb diet and missing your bread?
We have found you an option that is not just easy to make but it actually tastes good. I know we sound surprised but so often therse low carb bread options are so eggy and not nice but this one was actually delicious and had a bread texture. Taste was similar to a wholemeal bread.
This recipe is also gluten free so a great alternative if you need to reduce gluten.
These rolls are made with minimal ingredients, wholefoods and will leave you feeling full and satisfied unlike store bought bread that we often crave a second helping of.

5Tblsp psyllium husk
1 1/4 cups Almond Meal
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
2 tsp cider vinegar (i used coconut cider vinegar)
3 Egg whites
2tbls sesame seeds (optional)
Heat oven to 175
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
Add vinegar and egg whites and combined
Add boiling water while beating with a hand mixer for 30sec.
Dont over mix the dough...will be a little sticky but a little like playdough
Moisten hands with a little olive oil or macadamia oil.
Shape into 6 rolls
Place on tray with baking paper
Bake on lower rack of your oven for 60min.
Rolls are done when it sounds hollow to tap on bottom of the roll.
Enjoy your rolls fresh out of the oven
with a little butter,
or add all of your favourite fillings
