Low Carb Brownie - Gluten Free and Dairy Free

We are often asked for Low Carb, High Fat recipes so why not try out this Low Carb Brownie courtesy of 'Grass Fed Girl'.

It is super rich so you won't need much to satisfy the chocolate cravings. 
What's in it?

  • 3/4 Cup Raw Organic Cacao
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Natvia Baking (Stevia & Erythritol) - You could use 1/2 cup of maple syrup or honey if you didn't want low carb
  • 1 Cup coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Full Fat Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Almond Meal
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts chopped (optional - I didn't include them in this batch to ensure the recipe was quite low in carbs

How do I make it?

  • Preheat oven to 180deg
  • Mix Cacao, Eggs, Sweetener, Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk and Vanilla in a bowl
  • Add Almond Meal, baking soda and coconut
  • Pour into a baking dish (line with baking paper to avoid it sticking)
  • Bake for 30min

This recipe was divided up into 24 small portions perfect for the occasional treat.
