PALEO BEEF RIBS

Mmmmm....RIBS.....insert drool here.

I can't take the credit for this recipe as I actually found it on Paleo Leap but I have made a couple of minor changes as I actually cook mine in a pressure cooker for convenience as I don't always have a heap of time to prepare meals, so fast and easy is always at the top of the list when I am looking for meals to cook.

This recipe is a little on the sweet side so you could probably cut back on the honey slightly if you wanted.
In the pressure cooker this meal is cooked in approx 45-50min, serve with some cauliflower rice and Veggies and you have a super tasty meal. These Ribs will melt in your mouth!

PALEO BEEF RIBS What's in it? 

  • 2.5kg of Beef Short Ribs
  • 1/2 Cup Raw Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Aminos
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Vinegar
  • 4 Tblsp Minced Garlic
  • Freshly Ground Pepper
  • Seaweed Salt

 
How do I make it?
 

  1. In a bowl combine everything except the short ribs
  2. Place the Ribs in a Glass or plastic baking dish (see above picture).
  3. Then cover with the sauce.
  4. Refrigerate for anywhere from 4 to 24 hours.
  5. I quite often make this the night before so it can marinate overnight.
  6. Place Ribs into Pressure cooker along with the sauce it was marinating in
  7. Cook for 45min.

 
That's it...melts in your mouth, is delicious. A definite hit at our house!!


Share with family and friends...just be careful of little bones. As the meat literally falls of the bone in this recipe you need to be careful of little bones left behind from the ribs.
The Paleo Leap Recipe provide instructions on cooking this meal in the oven if you don't have a Pressure Cooker, and although I haven't tried it the Slow Cooker would also produce a good result if left on for approx 3 hours?
